Ihr Ziel ist es Kreditgeber vor finanziellen Ausfällen zu bewahren, indem sie die Informationen sammelt, die für die Einschätzung der Kreditwürdigkeit von Personen von Belang sein könnenMit einem negativen Eintrag in die SCHUFA-Akte kann man meist bei inländischen Kreditinstituten keinen Kredit mehr erhalten. Die Lösung ist der so genannte "Schweizer Kredit". Hier wird ein Kredit auch trotz schufa gewährt. Das Kreditinstitut hat den Sitz in der Schweiz. Diese schufafreien Kredite werden über Vermittlungsfirmen vermittelt, und es wird keine Einsicht in die SCHUFA-Akte verlangt. Auch wer selbstständig arbeitet oder arbeitslos ist hat hier die Möglichkeit einen Kredit aufzunehmen, obwohl er nur in einem engen Rahmen sein Einkommen belegen könnte. Oftmals werden schufafreie ratenkredite in Anspruch genommen, die in monatlichen festgelegten Raten zurück bezahlt werden. Hier muss man allerdings im Normalfall mit höheren Zinsen rechnen, als es bei einem Kredit mit Einsicht in die SCHUFA-Akte der Fall wäre. Der Kreditgeber geht ein höheres Risiko ein und das spiegelt sich meist in den höheren Zinsen wider.Die Gründe weshalb man einen Kredit aufnehmen möchte sind vielseitig. Wichtig ist es für den Kreditnehmer jedoch, sich über seinen finanziellen Rahmen im Klaren zu sein. Er muss vorher genau prüfen, ob er in der Zukunft in der Lage sein wird, den aufgenommenen kredit auch wieder abzubezahlen. Ansonsten läuft man Gefahr, in noch größere finanzielle Probleme zu geraten, anstatt seine Probleme zu lösen. Ein gründlicher Vergleich zwischen Kreditangeboten ist also dringend anzuraten, damit nichts der Umsetzung seines Projekts im Wege steht

akne sivilce güzellik cilt bakımı

Özellikle erkek çocuklarını etkileyen sivilce (akne),birkaç sene sonra kendiliğinden geriler. Akneden yetişkinler nadir olarak şikayetçidir. Genelde, aknenin birkaç yıl sonra gerileyip tamamen kaybolacağını bilmek, gençleri teselliye yetmiyor. Bunu gidermek için her yola başvurabiliyorlar. Akne oluşumunun ilk sıradaki sebebi cildin yağlı oluşudur.Normalden daha fazla yağ salgılayan cilt, havayla temas edince, oksitlenmeye maruz kalır ve ciltteki gözenekler (porlar) tıkanır. Tıkanma sonucu ağzı kapanan porların içinde yağ birikimi oluşur ve sonra da iltihaplanır. İşte ilk etapta siyah nokta, daha sonra kırmızı sivilce diye adlandırdığımız aknenin oluşumu bu şekildedir. Sivilceye Karşı Ne Yapmalı Cildi temizlemek, temizlenmiş porların yeniden sıkışmasını sağlamak, cildi siyah noktalardan arındırmak cilde sağlık kazandıracaktır. Fakat uzun vadeli bir sonucu yoktur. İlk başta gözle görülmeyen bu tıkanıklık, kendiliğinden kaybolabilir veya tam tersine zamanla siyah noktaya veya içi beyaz cerahatli sivilceye dönüşebilir. Por (gözenek) tamamen tıkandığında, sebum deri altında beyaz bir renk olarak birikir ve bu birikme deri üstünde görülür. İşte iltihaplı sivilce dediğimiz beyaz noktalar, yani "mikrokist"ler bunlardır. Saydam hücrelerin üst üste yığılıp sebumla karışması, porların genişlemesine sebep olur. Genişlemiş porun havayla temas edip oksitlenmesinden siyah noktalar oluşur. Akneciklerde durum bu kadarla da kalmaz. Sivilceleri sorun edip siyah noktaları sıkarak yok olmalarını sağlayarak kurtulmayı düşünenler çok yanlış ve kaçınılması gereken yol izliyorlar. Çünkü bu şekilde yağ bezini çatlatma ve iltihaplanmayı çok daha önemli boyutlara taşıma tehlikesi vardır. Aynı şey kırmızı sivilceler için de geçerlidir. Sivilcelerden boşalan çukurlar pek çok insanın yüzünde ömür boyu kalacak izler bırakabilir. Eczanelerde ve kozmetik mağazalarda satılan akne ilaçları, bakterileri yok etmek, onlarla savaşmak ve var olan aknenin ağırlaşmasını önlemek için kullanılır. Yalnız bu ilaçlar, cildi tahriş etmemelidir. Cildi yağlı olanların fazla güneşte kalmamaları gerekir ve güneş yağı kullanmaları da mahzurludur.Stres, gerginlik, uykusuzluk ve sigara kullanımı akneyi azdıran unsurlardır. Akneiklere en iyi gelecek tedavi, cildi dinlendirmekle başlar. Oksijeni bololan yerlerde bulunmak, düzenli uyku alışkanlığına sahip olmak da akneyi yenmede önemlidir.

Polen nedir?
Polenler, aynı tür bitkileri döllemek için havaya salınan ve rüzgarla etrafa yayılan, değişik ağırlık ve çaplardaki küçük parçacıklardır. Polen alerjisinde en çok önem taşıyan polen türleri kızılağaç, fındık ağacı ve huş ağacı tarafından üretilmektedir. Bunlara ek olarak pelin, tüm çimen türleri, özellikle çayır otları ve meyve bahçesi gelmektedir. Küf mantarların üreme organları, polenin sebep olduğu rahatsızlıklara benzer rahatsızlıklar verebilir. Polen alerjisi, kişinin belli polen türlerinde bulanan bazı proteinlere alerjik tepki göstermesinden kaynaklanır. Polen alerjisi, tıpta mevsim alerjik rinit olarak veya halk dilinde saman nezlesi olarak adlandırılır.

Sahil ve yüksek dağ kısımlarında genelde daha az polen vardır. Çimen ve pelin polenleri ancak bir kaç yüz metreden oluşan mesafelere yayılırken, ağaç polenleri kilometrelerce uzaklıktaki mesafelere ulaşabilir. Bu, özellikle huş ağacı poleni için geçerlidir. Bu tür polen, örneğin, sabit güney-doğu rüzgarları ile Güney Finlandiya yada Baltık bölgesinden Kuzey Norveç bölgesine kadar ulaşabilir.

Polen alerjisinin teşhisi nasıl yapılır?
Alerji konusunda bilgisi olan doktorlar tarafından cildinize yapılan iğne testi, sizin polene, ev tozlarına, küf mantarına, hayvanlardan olan maddelere ve benzerlerine tepki gösterip göstermediğinizi gösterir. Test maddesi içeren küçük bir damla, mesala polen çözeltisi, cildinize damlatılır. Bu damlanın içinden cildinizde küçük bir delik açılır. Kızarık, kaşıntılı beyaz kabartılı bir bölge alerjiniz olduğuna işarettir. Böyle bir tepki, diğer tipik alerji belirtileri ile beraber sizin çözeltideki polen türüne karşı alerji olduğunuzu gösterir. Halkın % 20 sinin, - yaklaşık olarak 900 000 Norveç’linin, değişik ciddiyette polen alerji rahatsızlığı olduğunu tahmin ediyoruz.
Isveç’teki yetişkinler arasında yapılan polen alerjisinin incelendiği bir araştırmada, aşağıdaki rakamlar saptanmıştır: 1981 yılında % 8 den 2003 yılına % 19 a kadar artış. Norveç’te de aynı miktarda bir artışın görülmesi düşünülebilinir.
Polen alerjisinden korunma yolları ve faydalı bilgiler:
Polen sezonunda, kişi diğer allerjenlere ve tahrik edici şeylere karşı aşırı duyarlıdır. Temizliğinize, ağır kokulara, tütün dumanına ve benzerine dikkat edin.
Sabahtan akşamın erken vakitlerine kadar olan, polenin en yoğun olduğu zamanlarda, evinizi havalandırmaktan kaçının.
Gün ortası çamaşırlarınızı dışarıda kurulamaktan kaçının. Polen çamaşırlara kolayca yapışır.

Polen alerjisinin tedavisi:
Bütün alerji tedavilerinin başında kişinin tahammül edemediği şeylerden kaçınması gelmektedir. Polen alerjisine karşı bir çok ilaç mevcuttur. Burun ilaçları, göz damlaları, alerji hapları (Antihistaminler ve leukotrieneantagonistler) iğneler ve solunum yoluyla alınan ilaçlar, alerji tedavisinde kullanılabilir. Xolair adlı yeni bir ilacın Norveç’te kullanılması uygun bulunmuştur. Bu, alerjiden oldukça çok etkilenen ağır astım hastaları için hazırlanmış bir ilaçtır.
Doktorunuz size en yararlı ilaçların seçiminde yardımcı olacaktır. Alerji ilaçlarının önleyici tür ilaçlar olduğunu ve tam etkisini göstermesi için aradan 1-2 haftanın geçebileceğini bilmeniz önemlidir. Ilaçların tüm mevsim boyunca düzenli olarak kullanılması gerekmektedir. Bu, polen yoğunluğunun düşük olduğu zamanlardaki alerji belirtilerinin kaybolduğu anlar içinde geçerlidir. Robotic suit helps paralyzed walk

LONDON, England (CNN) -- A new robotic suit could transform the lives of paralyzed people, giving them the ability to walk again.
The invention, known as ReWalk, acts like a kind of exoskeleton. It consists of lightweight, motorized leg supports and an assortment of intricate motion sensors.
Users wear a backpack that holds a computerized control box which helps the medical device recognize when a step needs to be taken.
"Standing changes my whole environment. I don't have to look from the bottom up. Now I am eye to eye with everybody," Radi Kaiof, who has used the device, told CNN.
Kaiof, a former Israeli soldier, was paralyzed from the waist down 20 years ago. He doesn't have feeling in his legs but is still able to move with the use of the robotic suit
With the assistance of crutches, which offer balance and support, people paralyzed from the waist down can walk, bend, sit and even climb stairs when they wear the suit.
The futuristic invention offers an alternative to using a wheelchair for those who have functioning upper bodies and are capable of standing with the use of supports.
It is the creation of Dr. Amit Goffer, an engineer and founder of Haifa, Israel-based high-tech firm Argo Medical Technologies. Goffer was inspired to create the device more than a decade ago after he became disabled in an accident.
The medical technology that could help paraplegics do what was once considered impossible isn't available for purchase yet. The device wasn't ready for testing until late 2007 and currently is in clinical trials in Tel Aviv.
More trials are planned for the United States and Europe, and if the product receives the necessary approvals, it could hit the market in 2010.
The price of the device hasn't been set yet, but is expected to be comparable with the typical average yearly expense of using a wheelchair.
The robotic suit improves the quality of life of people paralyzed from the waist down, according to Goffer, who wanted to give paraplegics an alternative to using a wheelchair. It also benefits their overall health since it keeps their bodies active all day long, he says.
But when it comes down to it, the invention is all about helping people regain respect. Dignity is "the No. 1 problem" for people who use wheelchairs, says Goffer.
For Kaiof, the former soldier, the robotic suit has changed his life. Before he tried it on, his daughter had never seen him stand before.
When he stood before her for the first time, she couldn't believe just how tall he was, he recounted to CNN.

Hotels of the future

Designs include undersea and space resortsIn January, London-based Thomson Holidays, one of the U.K.'s biggest tour operators, hosted the "Future Holiday Forum," with leaders in travel, technology and design. The most surprising part of its report, "2024: A Holiday Odyssey," predicted that the hotel of the future will be a foldable pod on stilts, which can be plunked down in remote locations. The pods will be self-sustainable, and guests can choose the images they want to be projected on the walls. When a destination falls out of fashion, whether due to demand or terrorism, the pod can simply be folded up and moved.
"The idea behind it is that the pods will have a minimal impact on the environment," says Rachel O'Reilly of Thomson Holidays. "They don't require infrastructure like roads to get there, as guests can helicopter in."
What's even more surprising is that the pod could potentially be made and put into use. The architects behind the design, London-based m3 Architects whose projects include the London Eye (imagine a giant Ferris wheel with glass pods) and Berlin's Reichstag, say the pod hotel is entirely feasible. "The technology is there," says partner Nadi Jahangiri. "Someone just has to pay to build it." Jahangiri estimates it would cost between $72 to $104 million to build, and says he has received a lot of interest from ship owners, who have dry docks and enough cargo space to accommodate the construction of a pod.
Future of travelIt's not just pod hotels which could be shaping the future of travel. Glen Hiemstra, founder of www.futurist.com, believes that three things will define the future of hotels: robotics, nanotechnology, and biometric security, such as retina scans. Some of these technologies, like retina scans, are already being used by high-security government offices, banks and the military, but Hiemstra predicts they will soon be embraced by the hotel industry.
"I think robotics will be the most significant technology to affect the hotel industry in the future," says Hiemstra. He envisions a hotel where robots can do the majority of the cleaning and check-in and safes will become automated by devices like retina scans. "But the really far-out science fiction scenario is with nanotechnology," he says. (In short, nanotechnology is the ability to manipulate and manufacture things at the molecular level.) "In 2025 or 2030, we might be able to have rooms reconfigure themselves to whatever guests want, whether it's a king-sized bed and a couch, or a single bed and a desk."
But swinging back to present day, where is most of the hotel innovation taking place? Howard J. Wolff, of the international design firm Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo (WATG) which counts Claridge's hotel in London and the Mansion at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas as clients, laughs and says, "The bed ... Starwood thought about what people wanted from their hotel room and when it comes down to it, it's a comfortable place to sleep which is why they spent their money developing the Heavenly Bed." (Starwood Hotel & Resort Worldwide's Westin Hotel subsidiary developed the Heavenly Bed, a custom-made mattress set by Simmons with 900 individual coils, that hotel guests can purchase for $2,565.)
Pushing the boundariesWolff says that the hotel industry is slow to accept radical design, and "any hotel opening next year was designed five years ago, so it's not exactly innovative." But WATG is pushing the boundaries of hotel design, and has created conceptual designs for a space resort; an undersea resort; an airship; and is also working on the world's biggest cruise ship, the America World City Ship, which will be more like a floating city with three hotel towers.
"There's a push and pull between high tech and high touch, which was covered in the book Megatrends [written by John Naisbitt]," says Wolff. "There's a desire for things like automated check in and smart cards, but people lose that human touch and interaction. There's a value in someone remembering your name when you come back to a hotel."
Kas Kasravi, a fellow at tech services company Electronic Data Systems in Plano, Texas, is a fan of Teleportec, a private Dallas-based company that allows videoconferencing with 3-D hologram projections. Right now the technology is only being used by individual companies, but Kasravi predicts that hotels will soon start implementing it to enhance conferences. But when asked what else he thinks the hotel of the future will have, or should have, his answer wasn't about robotics or nanotechnology. "I just want wireless web everywhere!" he wails.

The RTOS Motto: On Time And On Budget

But is an RTOS always necessary? The answer is application-specific, so understanding what one will deliver is key to determining whether it becomes a requirement or an extravagance.
In general, an RTOS can be used anywhere a non-RTOS is employed. However, it’s rare to find an operating system with a matching RTOS that has exactly the same application programming interface (API). Many of them, though, embed an RTOS within a conventional operating system. For example, Lynux- Works LynxOS and Bluecat Linux share a Linux API. LynxOS is a hard RTOS, while Bluecat inherits its base from Linux.
Linux continues to improve its real-time performance, but its worst-case interrupt latency still doesn’t meet what would be considered hard real time for an RTOS. It all comes down to quality of service (QoS). Platforms like RTLinux Free augment Linux, providing hard real-time class QoS.
It’s important to note that this type of addition often incorporates an RTOS programming environment that’s distinct from the original operating system. An RTOS is typically small compared to a conventional desktop or server OS. They often target more smaller, resource-constrained microcontrollers. For instance, CMX’s CMX-RTX and CMX-Tiny+ can run on 8-bit MCUs up through 64-bit processors.
The increased power and memory capacity of 8-bit processors is making an RTOS more desirable for these platforms. But, an OS or RTOS is usually a requirement in 16-bit platforms and up with RTOS products like Express Logic’s ThreadX, Wind River’s VxWorks, Micrium’s uCOS-II, and Green Hills Software’s velOSity being common selections. Depending on requirements, MontaVista’s Linux meets 16- and 32-bit platform requirements in the low microsecond range.
THE RTOS CORE: SCHEDULING AND PARTITIONINGMost programmers aren’t familiar with RTOS constraints and requirements. Most usually opt for an RTOS due to its performance. Most RTOS products are small and fast, yet an RTOS also adds consistency. Beyond the fact that an RTOS gets the job done quickly, it can guarantee a job will get done.
In many applications, a late result can be catastrophic. Thus, a poor result within the proper timeframe is preferable. These applications are generally called hard real-time systems. Hard real time doesn’t indicate how fast the system may be or how quickly a system may respond. Rather, it refers to how reliably a system can meet the specified requirements.
A hard real-time system may have a fixed cycle time of one minute with a response time of one second. In theory, it’s something almost any operating system could handle. This isn’t always the case, though, as anyone can attest to when waiting for a desktop application to respond within a minute.
Hard real-time systems typically have shorter cycle times and tighter response requirements. Faster processors always help, and multicore platforms can improve response time, too. The trick for developers is to match system requirements to the hardware and software, hence the importance of an RTOS in embedded applications.
An RTOS can implement a range of scheduling policies, and the application will often restrict a programmer’s choices (see the table). Non-preemptive scheduling is trivial to implement but useful in some applications. On the other hand, non-preemptive scheduling within a task can be implemented on top of a preemptive system.
Non-preemptive should not be overlooked, especially in light of new multicore processors. Here, hardware may be tuned to handle an event-based operation in which a thread will wait for an external event to occur. This approach is usually unsuitable for a single-core processor handling multiple threads. On multicore systems with many cores, though, it’s often typical to dedicate one core to handle one peripheral. It then makes sense to have that core idle while waiting for an event to occur.
As a result, preemptive, interrupt-driven RTOS architectures make up the majority of platforms deployed. These platforms have a range of requirements, issues, and solutions (see the figure). Interrupt latency is always an issue, although hardware— multiple register sets, hardware scheduling and task switching, and hierarchical priority interrupt systems—can significantly reduce this overhead.
Several issues coincide with preemption. Most are timing-related, like race conditions, deadlock, starvation, and priority inversion, which occurs when a low-priority task A owns a synchronization resource of a higher-priority task B, and a task C with priority higher than A is running.
Without a feature like priority ceilings, task C can prevent task A and C from running. A priority-ceiling feature changes the priority of task A to that of task C, allowing it to run and eventually release the resource needed by C. At this point, task A’s priority returns to normal and task C can run.
The other timing-related issues, which the programmer must address, are often the sources of bugs that are difficult to locate and correct. Trace tools become valuable assets in locating these kinds of bugs, since symptoms such as blocked tasks are the only indication of the problem

The UOP Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) unit is the workhorse in many refineries. The process is highly flexible and is used to crack atmospheric and reduced crude into lighter fractions. The C2 (ethane and ethylene) as well as the C3 (propane and propylene) fractions are quite valuable, since they contain significant quantities of olefins that can be recovered and sent to polymer processing plants. Significantly, it is this anti-terror law that would make the creation ofan Anti Money Laundering (AML) programme compulsory for all financialinstitutions and service providers.Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT Actdealt specifically with the identification of new customers (“CIP regulation”),and made extensive provisions in terms of KYC and the methods employed to verifyclient identities.In accordance with this piece of updated KYClegislation, federal regulators would hold financial institutions accountablefor the effectiveness of their initial customer identification and ongoing KYCscreening. Institutions are required to keep detailed records of the steps thatwere taken to verify prospective clients’ identities.Although currentKYC legislation does not yet demand the exclusion of specific types offoreign-issued identification, it recommends the usage of machine-verifiableidentity documents.
